CRIME STOPPERS OF NORTHEAST FLORIDA now uses the most up to date, encrypted mobile reporting system available – P3 Tips. Tipsters can send crime information and engage in anonymous, two-way dialog with Crime Stoppers from their smartphone or tablet using our P3 Tips mobile application. P3 mobile tips are completely secure and anonymous. Tipsters can also anonymously upload photos, screenshots, videos and audio files with their tips. P3 Tips is available as a free download on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

DOWNLOAD THE P3 TIPS MOBILE APP - First, locate the P3 Tips mobile app in either the Apple App Store or Google Play. This is a free download for your smartphone or tablet

CREATE A PASSWORD - First, you will need to create a four digit password. You will only need to do this one time. Your password will need to be entered anytime you access the mobile app in the future to check on existing tips or to create new ones.

SET UP P3 TIPS - The first time you use the P3 Tips mobile app, you will need to select your location, which includes country, state, and city. Select the buttons for United States, Florida, use Volusia County for your city selection, then choose Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida.

SUBMITTING A TIP - When submitting a new tip, the first thing you need to do is choose an offense type. If you do not see the offense listed that you are trying to report, select “Other” from the bottom of the list and then describe the activity on the next screen.

The mobile tip form is where you will enter the specific information reference criminal activity or the whereabouts of a wanted fugitive. Please enter suspect and possible victim information. It is very important that you include a specific address of the criminal activity you are reporting. The more detailed information you can provide, the easier it will be for law enforcement to investigate your tip.

You can also anonymously upload photos, screenshots, videos and audio files with your tips. Click on the “Attachment” button Next, either upload a file from your photo library or take a picture from the app. When you tip is complete, click on the “Submit” button.

Once you have submitted your tip, you will receive an immediate response that will include your tip number. You will also be provided with instructions on how you can update your tip from a desktop computer. You can also add more information and photos to your tip as well.

REVIEW/UPDATE AN EXISTING TIP - At any time, you can use the P3 Tips mobile app to review or update an existing tip. When you open the app, click on the “Review/Update Existing Tip” button. You will then need to click on the specific tip in the list that you wish to review or update.
